Routless Faux Wood Blinds
Faux wood blinds, like regular wood blinds, usually come with rout holes in each slat to facilitate the rise and tilt of the blind. These rout holes, however, can sometimes cause unwanted sunlight to shine through. In order to reduce unwanted glare and improve light control, many faux wood blinds come with a routless option that removes these holes altogether.
All faux wood blinds come equipped with strings, called ladders, that assist in raising and tilting the slats. Ordinarily these ladder strings run through rout holes, but, with routless faux wood blinds, these strings run underneath each slat to support them as well as control them. The special slats are designed to work with this new system and are completely free of holes. This means less glare, less light, and more control and privacy.
Routless faux wood blinds are perfect for offices, computer rooms, media and televisions rooms where homeowners want to drastically reduce any unwanted glare. Routless blinds are a perfect alternative to conventional blinds since they look and function like traditional faux wood blinds, but increase light control and versatility.
